Edico Genome and DNAnexus have partnered to bring DRAGEN to the DNAnexus cloud-based platform. Through this integration, new and existing DNAnexus customers will be able to utilize DRAGEN’s ultra-rapid Genome Pipeline, significantly reducing costs and turnaround time, all while enhancing accuracy.

Available Pipelines

DRAGEN Genome Pipeline

DRAGEN’s Genome Pipeline is now available on DNAnexus. The DRAGEN Genome pipeline enables ultra-rapid analysis of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data, reducing the time required for analyzing a whole genome at 30x coverage from ~10 hours using the current industry standard, BWA-MEM+GATK-HC software, to minutes, while also improving accuracy for both SNPs and INDELs. Running on a 2xlarge instance, the Genome Pipeline ~58 minutes.

This pipeline harnesses the tremendous power of the DRAGEN Bio-IT Platform and includes highly optimized algorithms for mapping, aligning, sorting, duplicate marking, haplotype variant calling, compression and decompression.
